HOW TO GET THERE

1. From Prague to Brno

We recommend to use the Student Agency buses, it's cheaper, faster and easier because you can buy your tickets online and don’t need any cash. You can also easily cancel your reservation if you are late or rebook for the earlier/following ride.

The easiest option is to use a Student Agency bus. Buy your tickets online here. The first option is to book the bus ride directly from the Václav Havel airport (the only airport in Prague) to Brno. Buses go from the airport to Brno from 6:35 am until 21:35 pm,
Second option, might be a bit cheaper, but also more complicated. You can use public transport to get to the Florenc bus station. Take the bus 100 or the Airport express. The 100 will take you to the metro stop Zličín (last stop, 18 min.). Zličín the end station of the B line (yellow one), so the metro goes only one way from here. So here you will get on and go directly to Florenc (25 min.). The SA buses from Florenc to Brno leave every half an hour from 3:30 am until 11:55 pm.
All of the SA buses are yellow so you will recognize them easily. One way ticket will cost you approx. 10 EUR.

Prague – Brno by train

If you want to go by train to Brno from the airport, be sure to use the Airport express, its the easiest way to get to the Main Train station and continue directly to Brno from there.

Prague airport – Prague city centre

Getting from Prague Airport to city center.

Bus Lines:

  • 119: Prague Airport - Nádraží Veleslavín (metro line A) - 15 min
  • 100: Prague Airport - Zličín (metro line B) - 18 min
  • Airport express: Prague Airport - Prague Main Train Station (metro line C and connection to SC, EC, IC and EN trains) - 35 min.

Bus stop:

  • Terminál 1
  • Terminál 2 – in front of the Arrival hall

Public Transport Ticket Sale:

  • Public Transport counters in Arrival Halls of Terminals 1 & 2 (from 7 am to 10 pm)
  • Automats placed at bus stops (cash required)
  • From a bus driver (cash required).

2. From Wien to Brno

Vienna airport  –––  Brno:  2,5 hours
Vienna ––– Brno:   2 hours

We recommend Student Agency busses. Buy your ticker here. You can either book the ride directly from the airport (Schwechat Airport Busstation) or from Vienna, U2 Stadion, Busterminal Stadioncenter, Engerthstrasse. It takes around 2 hours to get to Brno.

3. From Brno airport to city centre

Brno airport - Several low-cost airlines operate flights from the airport - Ryanair, Wizz Air and BMI Regional. Ryanair connects Brno to London (Standstead) daily. Wizz Air competes on this route and flies to London Luton airport. In addition, flights are available to Eindhoven, where it is possible to connect to other destinations for a low cost. BMI Regional offers a new direct connection to Munich Airport.

Bus Lines:

  • Bus number 76 Brno Airport - Main Station (journey time approximately 20 minutes)
  • Bus number N89 Brno Airport - Main Station - night bus service, in operation between 11:00pm and 05:00am (journey time approximately 20 minutes)

  • Bus stop is in front of departure terminal.

Tickets purchase:

  • In vending machine in arrival terminal
  • At Newsagent's in departure terminal (Airport Shop)
  • By contactless cards on the bus
